New models June 2021

  • Classic: Mercedes-Benz 280 SE Cabrio
  • Cubic series with flatbed tipper
  • Millipede in the service of Dortmunder Union
  • MAN 415 makes its début as a heating oil tanker
  • Modern classic: Saab 900 Turbo stages its comeback

A contemporary construction vehicle adds another chapter to the storied history of Magirus-Deutz: Crafted from new moulds, the compact square hood with tipper is added as a typical representative of its era, as it became a bread-and-butter lorry during Germany’s Economic Miracle that was primarily used at small construction sites. By outfitting it with a new interior, WIKING turned the convertible of the Mercedes-Benz 280 SE into a real stunner, adding another welcome surprise to the new items in June. Another newcomer is the Borgward camper van, an emblem of vacation fun in its day. Decked out in the colours of the Dortmunder Union brewery, the legendary “Millipede” honours us with its presence and so does the Magirus-Uranus, a crane truck giant of the post-war decades. Launched for the first time as a compact heating oil tanker, the model of the MAN 415 is true in every detail to the original that delivered oil to households with central heating in the sixties. All in all, the new items selection offers a wide range of themes that are sure to add to the collector’s fun in the summer of 2021.

Claas Xerion 4500 in the 1:32 scale boasts all advantages of a system tractor

  • Manoeuvrability with flexible steering
  • Cab can be rotated as needed for the application
  • Functionality is just as convincing as the intricate details
  • Flexible ballast weight application with additional weights

A system tractor is a major litmus test for a precision model made for the 1:32 scale - as it requires perfection in both functionality and details. The WIKING model of the Claas Xerion 4500 will win you over right away as all functions of the original system tractor can be imitated perfectly by the 1:32 scale miniature. Regardless of whether you wish to reproduce the manoeuvrability it owes to its steering abilities or the rotating cab of the Xerion. Better yet, those who wish to add real-life ballast weight application can opt for the add-on kit, which is true to the original and offers lots of filigree details.
