SIKU//WIKING MODELLWELT
The museum and shop are permanently closed from 09.12.2024.
You can experience toy car model fun and entertainment for all the family in the museum at SIKU//WIKING Model World. With over 3,500 model exhibits, we show a wide variety of miniature scale models from a 100 years of company history. Over an area of approximately 500 sqm., we present a world of adventure for adults and youngsters alike. Test and play with our remote-controlled models from the current SIKU and WIKING ranges on various large-scale Dioramas.
Under the single roof of a carefully restored industrial building, in future, WIKING will be in good company with the traditional brand SIKU. 100 years of company history are on display! Initially, in the 1950s, the modelmakers started out as a single entity and produced authentic models using plastic injection molding technology – until the target groups became more differentiated. WIKING stayed loyal to its traditional values and launched new model scales, while SIKU converted to zinc die-casting.
From now on, special themes are regularly introduced to update models
Visitors can visit the permanent exhibition, known as SIKU//WIKING Model World, to experience the entire spectrum of toy models and special themes from both brands. A single floor is dedicated to each brand where visitors can immerse themselves in entirely different brand worlds. WIKING modelbuilders deliberately focus on reproduction quality, so that selected miniature models are exclusively on show, which present a chronological timeline and WIKING’s main special edition themes. Regular special presentations update the exhibition. Over the next few years, the complete production of WIKING modelmaking will be showcased in full detail.
