Yet another gorgeous newcomer that sprang from new WIKING moulds, but also captured every detail of the old original: As Westfalia once released the VW T2b as a camping version, the model imitating the original adds that extra element of fun to playing with WIKING models today. The entry-level camper owes its realisation to the new moulds used for the T2b - including the short pop-up roof, the typical Westfalia interior, and the spare wheel on the front face. With its angular rear section, the wide bumpers, the rectangular rear lights, the indicators in the radiator grille, and a flatter roof as well as a number of additional modifications, the T2b further advances the chronology of the VW passenger van. Particularly popular and attractive from a model-making standpoint is the bi-colour design of the body, which the T2 had inherited from its predecessor “Bulli” series.
