WIKING's idea to intensify the production of attractive true-to-scale models in container logistics was conceived more than five decades ago. Now, the time has come for the première of the original model as designed by master model maker Alfred Kedzierski – naturally brought forth from new moulds. This model is accompanied by a matching container duo as well as a container trailer, making its first appearance with the International Harvester tractor unit. Also joining the fun are such legendary classics as the Opel Rekord P1 and the DKW Junior de Luxe - all of which models of exceptional rarity that were crafted from historical WIKING moulds. The gorgeous convertible the Mercedes-Benz 280 SE line adds as much style to the model landscape as the legendary DKW Munga, which is making its début in the colours of the Civil Defence corps of the time. The box semi-trailer with the Mercedes-Benz Pullman tractor unit LPS 333 is complementing the forwarder theme of “Schenker & Co. Wien”, while the Mercedes-Benz 1317 in the colours of Raab Karcher is pulling oversized steel girders into the selection.
