Some of them took equal delight in such classic transporters as the VW LT with its high roof, which WIKING has now recreated in the Westfalia edition of the original. While the originals impressed with their spacious interior, the campers never managed to shed the character of a classic transporter. Conversely, the model embodies the contemporary range of campers available at the time as well as the economic considerations of their owners who preferred a production vehicle over a model that required costly body modifications.
