The WIKING Magazine 2026 presents itself as a multifaceted tribute to automotive history and combines background information about technical milestones with stories of painstakingly created model upgrades. This time, special focus was placed on the heavy trucks traversing the roads: While the new heavy short hood will soon conquer the hearts of collectors as “the realisation of their long-cherished dream”, the Henschel HS 140, released as versions with tarpaulin and box, and the striking Thyssen tanker cause a stir in the field of historic trucks. This esteemed group is joined by such classics of industry as the Clark forklift from Ruhr Intrans and the rugged Toyota Land Cruiser of the seventies – a new mould creation that will be delivered in 2026.But, WIKING did not stop there and also gave a fair share to the elegance and charm of everyday life. They are honouring true style icons by bringing back the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster and the model innovation of the legendary Citroën 2 CV with its unmistakable corrugated sheet metal look. The Italian Ape vehicle demonstrates that size does not always matter. The WIKING Magazine uses the granulate mix as an opportunity to give an account of the special Deutz tractor that appears to return directly from work on the field. The widely customisable design options yielded by its injection moulding make each model one of a kind.In addition to the vehicle innovations, which include an exclusive Ferrari project in cooperation with The Loh Collection and the astounding highlight duo on the 1:32 scale, the photographic review, naturally, also attends to the company’s own history in a bid to meet the magazine’s obligation as a chronicler. A look back on the milestones reached by WIKING 25 and 50 years ago as well as personal memories of the GDR shared by founder Fritz Peltzer bridge the gap from the past to the future. The coverage of the WIKING Magazine is rounded out by insights into the lively collector's scene, e.g. in the form of the Schwarz-Bau diorama or reports from the WIKING convention in Obertrubach. Lastly, the new 2026 catalogue paves the way for upcoming discoveries.Annual publication presented on 64 pages – catalogue pages included.
