This Henschel tractor-trailer reveals the route of its daily commute: The team of the Pracht forwarding company hauled their cargo from Frankfurt to Berlin, reliably providing the daily logistics between the Rhine-Main metropolis and Berlin. Early on, the traditional logistics company had chosen Haiger in Hesse as their headquarters. On January 1, 2004, the mid-sized forwarder Spedition Pracht Spedition + Logistik was acquired by logistics service provider Kühne & Nagel (KN). Back then, the company signed a corresponding agreement with Hapag-Lloyd, whose logistics activities included freight forwarding for a long time. With this flatbed tractor-trailer, WIKING has miniaturised an authentic original from the fleet of Spedition Pracht. When Henschel presented the latest generation of lorries at the 1961 IAA auto show, the HS 14/16 series with its pioneering cubic driver’s cab was among the highlights. Thought up by French designer Louis Lucien Lepoix, it came to be the striking face of all Henschel vehicles in the 1960s.
