The company Coast Counties Truck & Equipment Co. - in short referred to as Coast Counties Peterbilt - was one of the oldest and best-known Peterbilt dealers in the United States. Founded in 1949, Coast Counties had its headquarters in San Jose, California. The world's oldest Peterbilt dealer is deemed a full-service dealer for heavy trucks and semi-trailers. While the company recently became a part of the Canadian Jim Pattison Group, they continue to operate under their traditional name. The Peterbilt 359 had a production run that stretched over many years and was the indisputable number one in the eighties when it came to the model selection at WIKING.
