- Ford Taunus 12M pulls Sportberger Egg
- BMW 1600 GT as a convertible and coupé
- “Burger Stumpen” on the striking VW T1 (Type 2)
- VW Beetle in the colours of the Hoechst works fire brigade
WIKING celebrates the conclusion of the 2024 summer with a colourful selection that kicks off the fall season with fresh incentives for collectors at the same time: A prime example is the VW Buggy Apal Jet with its copper metallic paint, which rolls into the product range as an evocation of the outdoor trend in the late sixties, when the young generation was thirsting for unconventional spare time fun. Enthusiasts will also welcome a reunion with the BMW 1600 GT, which sports the typical Flower Power colours as a convertible and coupé. Commemorating the first “Bulli” model, WIKING has miniaturized the VW T1 (Type 2) and given it the contemporary design of Burger Stumpen – a truly authentic 1:87 classic! Also new are two variants of the legendary Ford Taunus 12M, which shaped Germany's road during the Economic Miracle and is now staging a two-fold comeback in WIKING’s selection: as a model with a bicolour design and as a drawing vehicle that pulls a Sportberger caravan “egg” with a perfectly harmonised colour scheme. Fans of flashing blue lights will appreciate that WIKING converted the Dethleffs caravan into a potable water laboratory run by the THW and unveils the VW Beetle 1303 in the colours of the Hoechst works fire brigade.
