This minibus of the early fifties exudes special charm, as the Lloyd LT 500 is the perfect embodiment of the modest driving culture that started to emerge in the years of the Economic Miracle. WIKING used new moulds to create this minibus from Bremen and, once again, managed to breathe new life into the attractive theme cycles found in the magnificent WIKING world. One inhabitant of this world is the Scania 111, this time hauling a refrigerated semi-trailer draped in the favoured ASG colours into the selection. What is more, the Josef Tress stages a welcome comeback - after an absence of more than four decades. The Mercedes-Benz L 3500 drives into the product range sporting dazzling circus paintwork, while two modern classics from Rüsselsheim further enhance the line-up in the form of the Commodore A Coupé and the Berlinetta version of the Manta B. Other new additions include the Unimog 406 as a winter service vehicle of the Swiss postal service and the Kaelble dozer flaunting the colours of the company at the time. Almost last, but certainly not least: WIKING also thought of the specialists among their fans: An accessory set composed of wheels and axles for Hanomag, Opel Blitz, and other vehicles is sure to enhance their delight in models even further. A special treat is awaiting agricultural machinery fans: The Deutz D 40 L brandishes a look that impressively reflects the daily routine on the farmyard.
