The majestic Claas Trion 730 with its Convio 1080 cutting unit rings in a new era of cutting-edge models for agricultural machinery fans – the close collaboration with the harvest specialists from Harsewinkel continues. WIKING excels at bringing out every minute detail of these magnificent self-propelled machines, whose 1:87 miniatures rank among the finest specimens today’s art of model making can produce. WIKING is furthermore unveiling the twin-axle box semi-trailer with the look and feel of a Dorsay vehicle of the sixties. Shaped in brand-new moulds, this twin-axle classic bears the signature of master model maker Alfred Kedzierski and stays exceptionally close to the true-to-scale original, whose original moulds were irretrievably lost in the course of a modification process. WIKING also takes the wraps off their first vehicle type trio: The three model versions of the R4 testify to Renault’s ability at the time to shape their early all-purpose estate car into almost anything. Modern classics play an equally important role in the October delivery: The VW T2 rolls up as a police crew cab, while the MAN F7 with its mastic asphalt mixer graces construction sites with its presence for the first time. The Ford Escort and the Volvo Amazon round out the line-up of passenger cars, while the Faun trailer truck, decked out in Rosenkranz colours, and the four-axle Mercedes-Benz of the New Generation (NG) and flaunting the colours of the Emil Bölling corporation complement popular cycles of WIKING themes.
