The Stinger makes the difference! WIKING equips the latest generation of the 1:87 Panther with a high-reach extendible turret, a boom that offers even greater efficiency for the airfield fire engine in deployment. Like its original, the Rosenbauer Stinger is a flexible boom; from its park position on the vehicle roof it can be brought into different positions. More detailed replication is not possible! In real life, with its high reach and an extensive movement range the Stinger ensures that the extinguishing power can fight the fire object with a high range and a large movement area. The original offers a total Stinger rotation range of 60 degrees – 30 degrees to the right and 30 degrees to the left. Rosenbauer ensures that the combined movement ranges of the extinguishing boom, the turret and the completely new "piercing tool" (comparable to a penetration lance) cover all necessary attack positions. Consequently, the Rosenbauer Panther is one of the most successful, most efficient, and most flexible airfield fire extinguishers in the world.

The 1:87 scale model also highlights the impressive appearance of the original. No wonder the Panther, with its design which has won multiple awards, is considered one of the most modern fire engines of the present day. The Panther comes with an eco-friendly Euro 6 engine that delivers 750 hp, accelerates the vehicle from 0 to 80 km/h in just 29 seconds and allows the vehicle to reach a top speed of 120 km/h. The red leviathan can hold 12,500 litres of water, 1,500 litres of foam, 250 kilogrammes of powder, and 120 kilogrammes of carbon dioxide (CO2). Powerful pumps housed inside the vehicle ensure that 6,000 litres of extinguishing agent per minute can be expelled through the roof monitor. Its throw distance is approx. 100 metres. Rosenbauer’s latest generation of the Panther 6x6 demonstrates what has changed compared to its revolutionary forerunner. In a bid to afford emergency personnel even greater safety, usability, ease of use, and extinguishing power, Rosenbauer has equipped the new Panther 6×6 with innovative features along with maximum power, safety and functionality. Particular focus was placed on superior driving and vehicle safety, maximum usability and ease of use as well as perfect driving performance.
