This is how much excitement agricultural machinery on the 1:32 scale can generate: WIKING uses the 2023 Nuremberg Toy Fair as a stage for showcasing their model field vehicles – agricultural machinery fans will love the model fun the Fendt 700 Vario of the latest generation will bring them! This year's launch of this highly advanced generation from Marktoberdorf proves yet again that exceptional devotion to detail sets apart the model types on the mighty 1:32 scale. Scores of details and rich functionality are precisely the elements that make 1:32-scale models an international favourite. The production version of the Fendt 700 Vario will be available with and without a front loader. This model clearly attests to WIKING’s standard of being nothing less than a premium model maker on the 1:32 scale!

New generation of the Fendt 700 Vario with convincing values

No wonder that WIKING’s release of the latest tractor generation followed on the heels of the introduction of the real-world original. The freshly unveiled generation of the Fendt 700 Vario stands out with its impressive power and enormous flexibility – which are exactly the features that differentiate the 1:32 scale miniature now released by WIKING as a precision model. The tractor manufacturers from Marktoberdorf deliberately chose to be inspired by the needs and ideas of the farming businesses they serve in a bid to furnish them with the latest innovations and technologies. The Fendt 700 Vario “Gen7” makes the job of the operator in the cockpit much easier thanks to the intuitive FendtONE control system, the perfect balance of great power and minimum fuel consumption, and the wide variety of application options. These outstanding properties earned the Fendt 700 Vario the distinctions of “Farm Machine 2023” and “Tractor of the Year 2023”. The prize in the main category of “Tractor of the Year 2023” went to the Fendt 728 Vario. The tractor won the jury over with its brand-new 6-cylinder AGCO-Power engine with an engine displacement of 7.5 litres and a maximum output of 283 horse power. The engineers at Fendt also treated the machine to a new transmission and a state-of-the-art hydraulic and cooling system.

Lower assembly and bonnet fashioned from metal

As in the years before, the engineers of this WIKING model stayed true to their model making values in 2023 as well. The entire lower assembly and bonnet have been crafted from metal. The precision model of the Fendt 700 Vario is equipped with true-to-the-original tyres that come with a distinctly agricultural tread. And, its daily use tyres underscore the versatile usability of the tractor. When changing the wheels, the viewer will be struck immediately by the detailed design of the rims. For the combination of components WIKING chose to manufacture the entire lower assembly plus the bonnet and the frame from metal. To heighten its design elements, WIKING has furnished this tractor with lamps that have been delicately inserted into the bonnet. Representing a signature characteristic of the series, the radiator grille is inserted as a separate piece. The rear fenders are metal, while the front fenders are made of plastic. The left door and rear window are designed to open. The engine block in the miniaturised version offers great detail - just as the cab roof along with upright glazing, which makes using the front loader considerably more effortless. Exhaust, mirrors, ladder and steps have been miniaturized with exceptionally fine detail.
