When playing an active role in shaping the emerging boom in N-gauge models at the end of the sixties, WIKING made sure to include the matching automobiles for the miniature roads of their customers’ railway layouts. At the time, the vehicles on a scale of 1:160 were designed purely as stationary models – designed without rolling axles, but already boasting the attention to detail customers came to expect in body, glazing, and chassis. A stunning quartet of models shaped this epoch and brought the spirit of the times to the track N. Today, all of them are sought-after modern classics: The style-defining four-door Audi 100 (1968–1976), the classic Porsche 911 (1963–1973) sports car, the VW 411 (1968–1972), and the Ford Capri (1968–1972) make up this four-piece model ensemble. With this finely crafted selection of vehicles, WIKING offered the perfect backdrop for an authentic street view of the late sixties and seventies.
