New models October 2021

The traditional model makers devote the autumn of 2021 to upgrading the 1:160 scale: A trio of VW Beetles graces WIKING's line of N-gauge models with their presence, adding to the storied chronology of the model makers’ expertise in replicating the style of the original. The 1:87 scale miniatures manage to breathe new life into attractive themes – so rich in detail and impetus that collectors will be able to immediately place them within the WIKING chronology. Foremost among these models is the F89, which - thanks to new moulds - makes its début in the selection as a flatbed road train and flaunts the popular ASG colour scheme on top of that. Showcasing just as much tradition is the DKW speed van, which rolls into the portfolio both as a classy bicolour tour bus of the burgeoning Economic Miracle and as an authentic customer service vehicle draped in the Büssing colours. A successful throwback to old themes can be witnessed by taking a look at the Edelhoff dump truck, which encapsulates its garbage compactor counterpart from the nineties with its beaming white colour. And, fire brigade enthusiasts will rejoice when given the chance to experience the mighty LF 16 of the Hanover fire brigade. The square hood from Ulm joins its tank fire engine brother, the model of which was realised already long ago. Naturally rounded off by the white central belt bearing the name of the fire brigade.

In time for the autumn season, WIKING is updating their large-scale models. The 1:43 scale witnesses the latest release of the Rosenbauer Panther 6x6, which has been a roaring success world-wide and stands out with its custom design. For the 1:32 precision scale, WIKING is introducing a new product that is sure to please agricultural machinery fans: the HP 20 Halfpipe tipper.
