New Models April now available

With the new item April, which will be delivered now, WIKING is adding a classic bus to its range. When it came to the first coveted trips abroad, mainly to the Alpine neighbours, the Mercedes-Benz O 6600 H was on hand in the 1950s. At that time, the Oberpostdirektion München (Munich's head post office) organised postal trips and catered to the wanderlust in post-war Bavaria. After all, the post bus was considered an official means of transport. WIKING friends know that the Pullman bus can look back on a long model tradition - in the brand chronology, it is considered the "bus of buses". After all, the miniature already existed in the days of the unglazed series of transport models. At that time, the windows were only silver-plated. After the models were upgraded at the end of the 1950s, glazing was installed at an early stage, making the bus future-proof for the glazed series.

Powerful and endearing: Sweden bonnet truck Scania L111 makes a name for itself

Just in time for the 2023 spring season, WIKING-Modellbau is entering a new lorry chapter with the release of the mighty Scania L111! Boasting the allure of a model that marries power with charm, the 1:87 scale miniature of this bonnet truck from Sweden makes its début in the product line as a stanchion trailer truck and as a container transporter. The traditional model makers are also unveiling the Opel Blitz as a short hood paired with the classic Dinkel semi-trailer. Also new to the product family is the Büssing 8000, a tipper truck with trailer modelled after the Vidal tipper truck combinations. Yet another Swede who causes a stir: The Volvo N12 rolls up as a gas transport semi-trailer flaunting the Koppartrans colours. The latest incarnation of the Magirus tanker introduces the Italian Agip fuel brand to the product range, while the light blue Opel Rekord D and the VW Beetle “Salzburg” play their part in adding a modern classic flair.
