With the introduction of the “electric” variant, the Austrian manufacturer has sent a clear signal to announce a sustainable future for emergency vehicles. Now, this technological revolution is finding its way from the world of real-life missions directly into the display cases of collectors: The new model of the Panther 6x6 electric on the scale of 1:43 is an impressive symbiosis of detailed model making and state-of-the-art prototype technology.
The development of this model posed a particular challenge for the design engineers, as it called for capturing the complex and aerodynamic lines of the electrified Panther design in a way that was true to scale. The use of a high-quality combination of die-cast zinc components and precisely manufactured plastic elements has given birth to a 1:43 miniature that is not only visually convincing, but also offers a haptic quality that meets the high demands of model enthusiasts. Every detail, from the striking, large-scale glazing of the cab to the characteristic design of the electric powertrain and the body geometry, has been recreated with utmost care.
With this 1:43-scale miniaturisation, WIKING devoted special attention to functionality and the authentic replication of the operational details. The model is equipped with a front axle that offers precise control, which makes it possible to dynamically stage the vehicle in different scenarios on diorama layouts or on the shelf. Another true highlight is the movable monitor, which can be aligned functionally, impressively highlighting the capabilities of the original in an emergency. The interior of the cabin has also been recreated in great detail. The generous window surfaces make the working environment easily visible for the emergency services staff and give a realistic impression of the modern operating station.
