After the Büssing 8000 comes the little brother

  • Platform was created as early as 1957 for horse-drawn carriages
  • "Small" Büssing with a manoeuvrable appearance
  • This is how WIKING writes history rich in tradition

The flatbed dates back to 1957, the milk churn moulding stood two years later. And the Büssing 4500 in 1:87 makes Berlin contemporary history out of it. WIKING has a soft spot for history, especially when it comes to classics from the founding site of the traditional model-making workshops. Now collectors can rejoice! With the reunion of the Büssing 4500, WIKING has miniaturised a manoeuvrable truck based on the Braunschweig model, which was once used in urban and rural distribution traffic alike. In divided Berlin, this "small" Büssing was to make a sympathetic appearance for the dairy C. Bolle for the fresh milk supply.

Master model maker Alfred Kedzierski gave the shape

The large Büssing 8000 with flatbed and the milk tanks to put on top is already known, now comes the little brother. WIKING combines the classic with the handrail platform made from historical moulds, which was created in 1957 under the aegis of master modeller Alfred Kedzierski and was also used for many years on the horse-drawn carriage. The traditional model makers are well aware of the importance of the Büssing series for WIKING history. So it is no wonder that the Büssing type 4500 is now experiencing a model-making renaissance after its unglazed past. And with a contemporary task as a milk truck. Glazed, of course, but still with the unmistakable formal aesthetic WIKING DNA.
