Dream car of the 60s

This convertible possessed character and flaunted status - and WIKING is now breathing new life into this model with the steel blue body and refining it even further with a premium clear lacquer finishing. What is more, the filigree imprint of the ornamental trim turns this deluxe limousine into an open-air pleasure of the highest order. Produced between 1967 and 1971, the 280 SE was an object of desire that scores of film and TV stars loved to pose next to in photographs.

These classic bodies bearing the authentic WIKING signature of production decades that have long since passed are nothing short of gorgeous as they are the brainchild of legendary master model maker Alfred Kedzierski, who shaped models based on the original convertible Mercedes-Benz 280 SE at the approximate scale of 1:90. The traditional modellers have now given this miniature an overhaul after creating the interior for the vehicle from new moulds. The result of these efforts is a long-awaited reunion with one major passenger vehicle classic that are close to the hearts of entire generations of auto enthusiasts.
